About this program
Curtin University's Master of Advanced Practice degree. This course has been designed to meet changed health industry demands, both across the Australian health sector and globally, that require advanced practice clinicians, clinical leadership and clinical research skills in identified areas of healthcare. You will also explore qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods research processes, and related ethical considerations, for applied health research and evaluation practices. The course duration is two semesters of full-time study or the equivalent part-time study for applicants who hold a Graduate Certificate in the speciality they are applying for. Applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree will complete four semesters of full-time study or the equivalent in part-time study. Master Degrees (Coursework) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for professional practice, scholarship and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications.
