Career & PR pathway

Which careers in Nursing & Health Sciences lead to skilled migration depends on the occupation, not the degree title. See the skilled occupation lists guide for which occupations are on each list, and the points calculator to check where you stand.

Admissions

Applicants must have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) and must not already have a record of higher education level study. Domestic applicants sit a selection test, with final ranking based on a combination of test score and Year 12 academic performance. International applicants who meet eligibility criteria are selected on Year 12 academic performance. The course also carries specific pre-clinical placement and inherent requirements (communication, sensory, physical and cognitive tasks) set out in Flinders' Medicine and clinical science placement requirements.
