Bachelor of Speech, Language and Hearing Science - Exit Only

Flinders University, Adelaide, SA, Australia

About this program

The Bachelor of Speech, Language and Hearing Science is a nested exit award within Flinders University's Bachelor of Speech Pathology and Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Students who transfer out of the full Speech Pathology program after completing at least 72 units graduate with this science-focused qualification instead. It covers linguistics, phonetics, human bioscience, communication development and clinical foundations. Graduates who complete this exit award do not qualify to practise as speech pathologists and are not recognised by Speech Pathology Australia, but the qualification is recognised for related roles in communication science that do not require clinical registration.
