About this program
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Honours) [End-on] is offered by JCU's College of Healthcare Sciences. It is an End-on Honours research year for graduates of a cognate AQF Level 7 bachelor degree who achieved a credit average, giving students in sport and exercise science a supervised independent research project beyond their pass degree. Admissions
Completion of an AQF level 7 Bachelof Degree in a discipline cognate to the proposed area of research within the previous five years; and Achievement of an overall grade point average of 5.0 (i. e. credit average) across their bachelor degree, with credits or better in discipline-specific areas. Application for entry to the program is by approval of the College Dean. Quota restrictions on the number of honours places available may apply from time to time as determined by the College Dean. Students for honours who have graduated with a pass degree from this or another university or who graduated more than five years ago may be required to complete such coursework or assessment as the College Dean recommends. Information published by JCU or otherwise made available to students when applying, may specify additional criteria to be considered in ranking applicants in order of merit if the number of applications exceeds a quota or other limit on the places made available for the course. Information provided by applicants during the application process and any other information obtained by JCU in the application process may be used by JCU to rank applicants in order of merit by reference to those additional criteria.
