Master of Transportation Systems (Double Masters with Southeast University)
Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
Monash's Master of Transportation Systems, offered as an international double master's with Southeast University in China, trains engineers to understand the technological, environmental, economic and social dimensions of transport, applying current transport engineering approaches to real planning, design, management and operational problems. The course builds analytical skills alongside practical knowledge of modern transport technology and demand, while explicitly recognising the role other disciplines play in solving genuinely complex transport-related issues. Through the Southeast University partnership, eligible students complete both the Monash qualification and a second transportation-focused master's degree from the Chinese institution, giving dual international recognition. It suits engineering graduates who want a transport engineering specialisation with real China-market exposure and dual qualification recognition, positioning graduates for transport planning and infrastructure roles across international as well as Australian contexts.

Career & PR pathway
Which careers in Engineering lead to skilled migration depends on the occupation, not the degree title. See the skilled occupation lists guide for which occupations are on each list, and the points calculator to check where you stand.
Admissions
An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a cognate field. For SEU students: An equivalent score in the National Master Unified Entrance Examination will be utilised in place of the required WAM score of an undergraduate degree.
