Doctor of Philosophy - Level 1
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
Murdoch's Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program lets a candidate investigate a chosen research topic in depth over an extended candidature, working under the supervision of an academic in the relevant field. The resulting thesis, capped at 100,000 words, must represent an original and significant contribution to knowledge. Along the way, candidates build the skills to define a research problem, select suitable methods, and connect their findings to the wider discipline, while engaging with other researchers and presenting at conferences. Candidature is available across all disciplines at Murdoch, including interdisciplinary projects that cross traditional subject boundaries. The course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
