Graduate Certificate in Public Policy

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

The Graduate Certificate in Public Policy covers the theory and practice of public policy and public sector management, including the foundations of public policy and the essentials of public sector administration. Students develop analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to careers in government, the not-for-profit sector, and private-sector roles connected to policy, both in Australia and internationally. Public policy and development-related roles are generally not listed as skilled migration occupations, and many Australian public-sector positions require citizenship, so the degree is more directly useful for further study or roles with NGOs and international organisations than as a migration pathway. This course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
