Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

The Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science extends an existing IT-related qualification and work experience. It sits within a staged postgraduate IT structure at Murdoch, where students can complete the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology after one semester before progressing to the Graduate Diploma after a full year of study, with unit choices determining a specialisation in Information Technology Management, Cyber Security and Networking, or Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Students who continue to the full masters degree can complete it either through coursework alone (48 credit points) or through coursework plus a dissertation (36 credit points of coursework and a 12-credit-point dissertation). Data science and related ICT roles appear on Australia's skilled occupation lists, and the 485 graduate visa gives international graduates time to build the work experience needed for a skills assessment. This course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
