About this program
The Master of Food Science (Industry Practice) extends food science knowledge with professional training in food safety, food engineering, and food product design, mentored by academic staff and food industry leaders. Students study at Murdoch's Food Centre, part of the Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA), a hub for food professionals and researchers working on food production. The course has a hands-on focus in a working food innovation environment and includes a research project or dissertation.

Admissions
Bachelor of Science in cognate discipline (AQF Level 7). Other AQF Level 7 qualifications will be considered if they are broadly relevant to food science and contain units in biological or chemical sciences, at the discretion of the Academic Chair. OR Successful completion of the requirements for G1095 (Graduate Diploma in Food Science).
