Diploma in Music (Practical)
University of Melbourne, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
The Diploma in Music (Practical) at the University of Melbourne, open only to students already admitted to another University of Melbourne degree, gives students access to the full curriculum at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music alongside their main studies. Students focus on practical music training with individual instrumental or vocal tuition over a minimum three-year sequence, or complete the equivalent of a major in musicology or ethnomusicology.
Students study alongside Bachelor of Music students, building networks and friendships, and graduate with a music qualification that complements their primary degree or leads toward a music-focused career in education or performance.
