Graduate
Master of Geoscience
University of Melbourne, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
The Master of Geoscience at the University of Melbourne, one of the few two-year graduate geoscience courses in Australia, builds a foundational understanding in the first year before students explore a wide range of subjects, including those from partner institutions, in the second. Students complete a 200-point course with hands-on training in environmental impact assessment, resource exploration and hydrogeology at field localities across Australia.
Graduates move into geologist, geoscientist and geophysicist roles across a wide range of industries, with most stepping into work shortly after completion.
