Bachelor of Engineering
University of Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Flexible First Year) at the University of Sydney lets students explore different engineering disciplines before committing to a stream, starting with a common set of units in mathematics, computing and an introduction to engineering. At the start of second semester, students transfer into their chosen stream, from aeronautical, biomedical and chemical to civil, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic and software engineering.
The course suits students who are unsure which engineering discipline to pursue and want to explore before deciding. Career pathways depend on the chosen stream, spanning aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic and software engineering roles.
