Bachelor of Oral Health
University of Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
The Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Sydney is a three-year degree that graduates students with a dual qualification in dental hygiene and dental therapy. The course develops skills to prevent disease and manage oral health conditions with an adult restorative scope of practice, and graduates are licensed to use diagnostic radiation on registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
Oral health therapists work across school and community dental services, hospitals, residential care and both general and specialist private practice. Sydney has invested in a dedicated dental simulation clinic for hands-on clinical training.
